Campbell turns 3!

Campbell is now 3! I cannot believe it.  We had a wonderful weekend celebrating her birthday with friends and family.  What a true birthday surprise to have over 4 inches of snow at our house on Friday.  She made a snowman and played in the snow with Mo, Uncle Scott, and Chucky!  They had just as much fun in the snow as she did if not more.

We had her birthday at Jump Zone.  She loved it!!  She must have gone down the big slide 30 times!!  Cooper also enjoyed it and loved the big slide as well.  She still is not so sure about all the attention when it was time to sing "Happy Birthday".

Pictures of the party

Cooper's Birthday!

I cannot believe that my baby is ONE!!! Cooper turned one on the 22nd. We had his birthday party at our house on the 23rd. We had a great time with our friends and family. It was suppose to be 65 so I got a bounce house for the big kids. Well, the temperature never got above 50 but the kids had a great time!!

I went with a car theme with colors aqua and red. Here are a few of my pictures. My sweet sister in laws got more of the photos on their new cameras so that I did not have to worry about pictures.

Voice your Opinion

case you haven’t heard, the federal government is trying to “reform” our nation’s healthcare. The house released its version yesterday, and their priorities for health-care “reform” are now clear: a government-run system financed on the backs of Americans and small businesses with higher taxes on all Americans. Their government run health plan is designed to squeeze out free market private healthcare and the federal government will determine the future healthcare needs of you and your family. Make no mistake, It is the beginning of socialized medicine! Go no further than to Canada, and ask a Canadian how they feel about their socialized healthcare system. There is a 4 week waiting list to see a specialist in Canada!

This is no joke and is on the cusp of becoming a reality in the US! If you enjoy the healthcare you receive today and you enjoy the free market foundation that AMERICA was built upon, I strongly suggest you contact your senators and representatives today to tell them so. The house and senate plan to vote on this by the end of July, and the public backlash (or lack thereof) to this will determine whether a public option makes it with the bill or not. Below is a link to contact your representative and your senators in your state. It takes no longer than 10 minutes to contact all of them…

Most Americans can agree that healthcare can be more cost effective and should be made more readily available to those Americans that do not have access to healthcare today. That’s what reform should be about! However, if you are a hard working American, and you enjoy the healthcare you have today without interference from government, then tell them you OPPOSE A PUBLIC OPTION WITHIN HEALTHCARE REFORM!

sorry - it has been awhile

Sorry, it's has been awhile. We have had many things going on.
What we have been doing:
My brother got married on March 7th
a trip to Chicago for my cousin's wedding with both kids at the end of March
Dothan for Easter
beach
lake
and a few weddings and baby showers!!

Campbell is now officially potty trained. We did the potty bootcamp and it worked great even though I did not do the bedtime routine of it yet. Waiting on the big girl bed which is now ready to be picked up.

Here are the kids at the pool. We had a great time just the 4 of us and look forward to returning at the end of the month.

I am excited about this weekend. Mo has surprised me with a trip to Chateau Elan outside of Atlanta for the weekend. It is our 5th anniversary. I could not be more excited to have a weekend with just the two of us.

Pictures of Cooper and Campbell

We had someone come and take pictures of the kids. She did a great job! Cooper is two weeks old in these pictures and Campbell is one week shy of being two!

Campbell's Birthday

We had Campbell's birthday party on February 14th. It was a blast! The kids loved the gym and it was easy for us especially since Cooper was three weeks old at her party. Here are few pictures that the people at Kids Gym took during the party!

Snow

Snow!! We had a great time in the snow today! Campbell named our snowman "Chop". I am not sure where she came up with that but she had a great time even though she did think it was a mess.

Update

I am a bit late on posting our Christmas pictures. Here is a little info on the pictures!

Christmas with the Moore's on the 23rd!

Christmas Eve- Campbell enjoyed Christmas very much! I think her favorite thing was making cookies for Santa. She loved putting on all the sprinkles!

A few of Christmas morning

The girls picture is of my sweet friends in Birmingham that gave me a diapers and wipes shower. We had a wonderful time at lunch. It was nice to not have any little ones with us for once.

the slide- The weather has been rainy here for days so I decided to bring in the slide for playgroup. Campbell loves having it indoors to play on. She also thinks it is a great place to sit and read!

Update on Cooper-
We went to the doctor today and she said that I am 1 1/2 centimeters dilated and if I keep going this way then we could looking at inducing around the 22nd! I cannot wait to hold Cooper. It will not be to much longer!!

Zoolight Safari and Cooper's room

On Friday night, we took Campbell to the Zoo light Safari. She had a great time watching the light show and riding the train!! I loved the warm weather. She has enjoyed showing us all the the snowmen and Santa's. She is not quite sure about the live Santa but that is fine. Campbell also has enjoyed playing with the nativity scene and learning about baby Jesus.

Here are a few pictures from Cooper's room and our guest room. I love the bedding we got for him. It is so soft and sweet. We are painting the lamp beside the chair this weekend!! We are getting some pillows made for the bed and new fabric for the side tables. It is coming together quite nicely. Yes, I know that we do not have all the letters for his name yet. We still need a p and e then we are going to hang his name above the crib!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas this year. We have so much to be thankful for! I just love this time of the year!

It has been way to long!

Sorry, I have not blogged in awhile. We have been super busy like the rest of you! Here are a few pictures from the past week. I had to put Campbell's tea party with her babies! Friday, Campbell had fun playing with Ellison (11 months) and Thomas (8 months) at our house. This is as good as it gets to put three moving children together!! Next, we headed to Dothan for a few wedding parties. Stephanie had a bridal shower at one of Scott's friends parents house. She recieved many lovely items. My favorite and I think hers was the Navitity scene she got from the hostesses. It was beatiful. We had a family dinner to celebrate Scott and Stephanie on Saturday night. Lots of fun for one weekend. Next time we head to Dothan, it will be with two children instead of just one! Crazy!!!
